CCofNA Awards
At the Citroen Club of North America’s year 2000 annual meeting Brad Nauss of Brad Nauss Automotive started an annual award that he has presented to club members ever since. This award is to a club member who has been of great benefit to the Citroën marque in the U.S.A. The award is a very nice plaque with a “double chevron” on it and is called the Lifetime Achievement Award . This award is decided by the amount of nominations from club members that the person receives throughout the year.

2000
For the year 2000, Donald “Red” Dellinger was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his lifetime of promoting, selling, servicing, and restoring Citroën automobiles. This picture shows Red at the last breakfast he went to at La Madeleine. We miss you Red.

2001
In the year 2001, Lynn Gervase was given the Lifetime Achievement Award after 16 years of being editor of the Citroënthusiast. Riding through the days of being a paste up club newsletter called The Citroën Club of Ohio Newsletter , to It’s present national club newsletter of Citroën Club of North America , done completely on computer, Lynn gave her best to produce a great newsletter. We miss you Lynn.

2003
The year 2003 saw the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Ken Betsh for his 40+ years of Citroën ownership and his many years of participation in club functions. Ken served 6 years as Vice President of the Citroën Club of North America . He also worked many years compiling a comprehensive index of the club’s newsletters and put together the famous D Model Book which compiled all the Citroën D Model technical articles onto a CD. Thank you Ken, for all your hard work!

2004
The year 2004 saw Dave Burnham get the Lifetime Achievment Award . Dave was given the award for his outstanding contribution to the club as well as his professional devotion to keeping the Citroën marque alive in North America. Dave is a Citroen mechanic and expertly restores Citroëns in his shop in Delanson, NY.

2005
The year 2005 saw Dave Root receive the Lifetime Achievment Award . Dave has been the life blood of Citroën things happening in Florida ever since he moved down there many years ago. Probably one of his most favorite quotes would be ” any trip in a Citroën can be an adventure…you don’t always reach your destination or you reach it much later then expected”. Dave was president of the club from 1993 to 1996. Over the years Dave wrote many “ar-tickles” for the newsletter. Some of the more famous titles were:
- See Thru 2CV
- Mobile Flower Pot
- Garage- Breaking a New Citroën
- Trying to Keep a Proper Balance Between Wives and Citroëns
- What to do if Your Rear End is Dragging
- Making Citroën Repairs easier Next Time

2007
The year 2007 saw Denis Foley received the award. He has been an officer of one type or another in the club since 1986 when he took on the job of events chairman.
He has been club Treasurer since 1989.

2008
The year 2008 saw the Lifetime Achievement Award go to Michael and Cherise Cox , for their over 30 years of contribution to the Citroën marque in North America. They were responsible for taking on and pulling off the 12th ICCCR at Amherst Massachusetts in 2002. Together they also have published the Citroën Quarterly since January 1983. Sadly, Cherise passed away this year. We miss you Cherise.

2009
The year 2009 saw the Lifetime Achievement Award go to Robert Monteleone and Kim Walter , the team responsible for making the Drive She Said Citroen Rendezvous “THE” summer Citroen meet to attend each year in North America. Their contribution to the Citroën marque in North America is amazing. They and their great group of volunteers are responsible for organizing this meet every year. The ever increasing attendance shows what a great job they do. Thanks for all you do!

2005
In 2005, Brad Nauss received a recognition award, in the form of a very nice wall plaque, that honored him for his many years of service to the Citroën community by organizing the CCofNA annual spring Carlisle Meet and Dinner. Thank you Brad, from all of the CCofNA members.
