My 1987 2CV Reg: D685 VHG “Billy” was stolen on 29/30th August. Last year the car was fully restored to a very high standard. The local police believe that the car was stolen ‘to order’, and it is possible that the thieves plan to sell it abroad. Willy Ronis, the French photographer that took this lovely portrait of a 2CV, as well as many other well known post-WWII images of Paris life has died at the age of 99.
