Citroëns at Fiddler on the Green
For the Citroën Club of North America, Carlisle is a weekend of tradition. One of the more recent traditions is a Friday night gathering for a meal at a local restaurant. In the beginning, it was such a small group that we would only occupy a few tables at one of the local restaurants, but over the last few years, the number of people who arrive on Friday afternoon has grown to the point that we now have quite a crowd. Guess where we went this year... George Lois' new restaurant, Fiddler on the Green at Mayapple Golf Club.
Clouds over Carlisle: Who cared?
One of the things about the annual Import Car Fest at Carlisle which is consistent from year to year is the inconsistency of the weather! Over the years, it has been my observation that, likely as not, rain will appear in the forecast. And I always find myself worrying that the weekend will be a washout. Next year I have to first remind myself that, rain or shine, this is a meet guaranteed to be both fun and enjoyable! To be sure, we had a few storms rush through Saturday night after the banquet, but in looking back, I realize that they did not dampen spirits one iota!

The Citroën Rendezvous Was A Blast!!!
Drive She Said once again had a bang-up Citroën Rendezvous in the town of Saratoga Springs, NY. Citroenthusiasts from all over celebrated 40 years of the GS and the SM as well as 20 years of the XM. It was so much fun to meet new friends and old alike and check out all the gorgeous Citroëns.
